Our Digital Marketing Services in Oxford

Marketing is the process of getting your business in front of the right people, giving them a reason to choose you, and turning that attention into enquiries and sales. For most businesses, online marketing means combining several channels rather than relying on a single source of growth.

At Scale Oxford, we work across the full marketing funnel. As a digital marketing agency in Oxford, we support companies across Oxfordshire, in the city itself and in Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Didcot and Witney, with advertising, SEO, social media, content, email, PR and marketing strategy, bringing these channels together around the same commercial goals.

How we build your plan

  1. A strategy built for your business

The best marketing strategy depends heavily on your products or services, pricing, competition, target customers and the market you operate in. There is no single approach that makes sense for every business.

  2. We analyse your market first

For most of our packages, we begin with a detailed analysis of your products or services, pricing, competitors and wider market. Based on what we find, we develop the marketing strategy and channel mix that makes the most sense for your specific situation.

  3. You approve, then we implement

We then present the proposed plan to you, explaining what we recommend, where we see the strongest opportunities and how we intend to approach them. Once you approve the strategy, we get to work implementing the proposed solutions and measuring their performance.

Marketing Strategy

In many cases, actually choosing which marketing strategies to focus on is the area that decides whether your marketing will be successful or not. With our experience working with 300+ brands, dozens of industries, and domain expertise, we develop the plan that has the highest likelihood of succeeding for your business.

SEO

The surest way to generate sales online is by making sure that your business appears when people search for your services. We handle your SEO end to end, from content creation to backlink generation, to increase your online presence.

Social Media

Social media can be a fantastic way to reach a large audience with content that speaks for your brand. Particularly effective for local brands, social media can help spread your message to your local community and, when done well, serve as a great asset for your brand image.

Creative & UGC

UGC has become one of the most important content formats for brands, particularly across paid social and organic social media. We produce UGC-style videos, ad creatives, graphics and short-form content designed to feel native to platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, while still communicating your offer clearly and driving action.

Lead Generation

For many B2B businesses, lead generation can be a very cost-effective way to acquire new customers because the cost of reaching and generating a lead is often small relative to the value of the eventual deal. We build campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta, landing pages and email to consistently bring qualified prospects into your pipeline.

Sales Outreach

Outbound sales can give you a direct route to thousands of potential buyers. We build prospect lists, write messaging and run outreach campaigns that can include thousands of cold emails, thousands of calls and thousands of LinkedIn messages, helping your sales team create conversations at scale.

Local business. A clinic, a dealership, a restaurant group: the demand is already here and already looking.

Ecommerce. A shop that sells online: most of the work is buying the demand and keeping the store fast.

SaaS. Software sold by subscription: found on its own terms, and sold to as well as marketed at.

Manufacturer. A business that sells to other businesses in volume, where the order comes after a conversation.

B2B services. A firm that sells expertise: most of the effort is starting conversations with the right people.

What Working With Our Marketing Agency Looks Like

Marketing is very heavily influenced by your products or services, competition, pricing, market, and more. Because of this, we start by building you a strategy before you sign anything. We understand your business, audience, and competition, and build the strategy that has the highest likelihood of succeeding.

On our second call, we present our recommendations to you and agree on priorities before implementation begins.

Week 1: Setup & Preparation

The first week is usually focused on getting the infrastructure ready. Depending on your strategy, this can include setting up Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console, reviewing conversion tracking, setting up or auditing ad accounts, and more. We also prepare creatives and content to be published starting from week 2.

From Week 2: Campaigns Start Going Live

From around the second week, the first activity normally starts going live. This might include launching Google or Meta campaigns, publishing the first SEO content, starting social media activity, activating email campaigns or beginning sales outreach.

Some businesses may have one highly focused channel, while others may have SEO, paid advertising, social media and outbound campaigns running simultaneously.

Most businesses starting marketing from scratch will be able to see first traffic results from weeks 2 to 3.

Ongoing: Execute, Test & Optimise

Once campaigns are live, we continuously review performance and make adjustments. That can mean changing bids and budgets, testing new audiences and creatives, improving landing pages, expanding keyword coverage, updating outreach messaging or shifting resources between channels.

We use the results to continuously refine the original strategy rather than treating the initial plan as fixed.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

You receive regular weekly reporting covering the most important activity, results and changes we have made.

You also have access to real-time reporting dashboards where you can track important metrics such as traffic, leads, conversions, cost per lead, advertising spend and campaign performance whenever you want.

Working Like Part of Your Internal Team

You have direct Slack access to our team throughout the engagement, allowing you to communicate with us much like you would with someone inside your own business. Every account is also co-managed by an Oxford graduate.

Rather than simply agreeing to “do PPC” or “do SEO”, we take responsibility for the wider marketing problem. We develop the strategy, implement it, analyse the results and continuously look for the next opportunity to improve your marketing.

Marketing Agency in Oxford: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a marketing agency in Oxford cost?

Our marketing services start from £700 per month, depending on the scope of work. Across the UK, SME marketing agency retainers commonly fall around £1,500–£3,500 per month, while broader custom arrangements can cost considerably more.

Digital agencies also charge in different ways. Some use a fixed monthly retainer, others charge per project, and specialised advertising agencies sometimes charge a percentage of your advertising spend. At Scale Oxford, we use a fixed monthly fee so costs are clear from the beginning.

How long does it take to see results from marketing?

It depends heavily on what type of marketing we are doing. With paid advertising, for example, campaigns can begin generating leads or sales within the first week. Mid- to long-term initiatives such as SEO and branding may take several weeks or longer to produce significant results, although this is not always the case.

Is advertising spend included in your marketing agency fee?

No. Advertising spend is paid separately to platforms such as Google, Meta or LinkedIn. Our agency fee is fixed and does not increase as a percentage of your ad spend. This means that if a campaign performs well and you decide to scale your advertising budget, you do not automatically have to pay us more simply because you are spending more on ads.

Do I own my Google Ads, Meta, Analytics and other marketing accounts?

Yes, absolutely. Wherever possible, marketing infrastructure is set up under accounts that belong to your business, and you retain ownership of your data and advertising accounts. If our partnership ends, any accounts we manage are either transferred fully to you or our team’s access is removed. These are only reinstated upon your request.

Can you work alongside our existing marketing or sales team?

Yes. Many of our partnerships work exactly this way. We can take responsibility for areas of marketing that your internal team does not have the time, capacity or specialist expertise to handle, while continuing to work closely with them. The goal is to extend your existing team rather than replace it.

What types of businesses do you work with?

We work across a range of industries, including B2B, SaaS and technology, ecommerce, professional services, local businesses, property, hospitality, healthcare, education and consumer brands. The marketing strategy and channels we recommend vary depending on the industry, business model, target customer and value of each sale.
