Why Choose Scale Oxford as Your Outsourced SDR Team?

  1. Built by Oxford Graduates

Scale Oxford is founded and run by Oxford graduates.

  2. Working From the First Week

A new hire spends their first weeks learning your market. Our team starts on yours in week one, with a plan you approve.

  3. Measured on Meetings Held

Your report leads with the meetings that actually took place, not with how many messages went out.

  4. A Founder On Your Account

A co-founder sets up your SDR campaign with the team and goes through what it achieved with you every month.

  5. Reachable in 7 Minutes

A warm reply or a question about a prospect gets an answer on Slack, usually within 7 minutes.

  6. SDR Services From £1,200/Month

LinkedIn SDR work starts at £1,200 a month, every plan is priced on this page, and there is no long contract.

What an Outsourced SDR Does, and Where It Stops

An SDR, or sales development representative, works the start of your pipeline: finding buyers who fit, opening conversations and turning the interested ones into meetings. The sales call, the proposal and the close stay with your team, so every prospect we hand over goes through the same four stages first.

  1. Researched

The company fits your ideal customer and the person can make, or shape, the decision.

  2. Contacted

A message written for them goes out on LinkedIn, by email or, in custom plans, by phone.

  3. Qualified

Their reply is checked against the definition of a good meeting we agreed with you.

  4. Meeting Booked

The meeting lands in your calendar with the full conversation, so you know why they said yes.

03

Our Outsourced SDR Services

Targeting & Qualification Rules

We agree who your SDR should be talking to and what makes a meeting worth your time, then hold every booking to those rules.

Prospecting & List Building

We research the companies that fit, find the decision makers inside them and check their details before a single message is sent.

Multichannel Outreach Sequences

Our sales outreach reaches each prospect more than once and in more than one place, spaced like a person would space them, until they say yes, no or not now.

Telephone Appointment Setting

In custom plans our SDRs also call, screening every business number first and saying who they are calling for at the start of each call.

CRM Updates & Handover

Booked prospects go into your CRM, or a shared sheet, with their notes, so whoever takes the meeting has the whole story.

Call Notes & Weekly Reports

You get a written report every week on who was contacted, who replied and what they said, with next week’s plan beside it.

Reachable like a colleague, not a support ticket.

Local business. A clinic, a dealership, a restaurant group: the demand is already here and already looking.

Ecommerce. A shop that sells online: most of the work is buying the demand and keeping the store fast.

SaaS. Software sold by subscription: found on its own terms, and sold to as well as marketed at.

Manufacturer. A business that sells to other businesses in volume, where the order comes after a conversation.

B2B services. A firm that sells expertise: most of the effort is starting conversations with the right people.

The Real Cost of Hiring an SDR In-House

An SDR’s salary is only the first line of what one costs. Put the other lines beside it and the comparison changes, especially in the first months, before a new hire knows your buyers. Each block below is a cost you would carry, not an amount.

Hiring your own SDR, you pay for

  • A salary, plus employer’s National Insurance and pension
  • Recruitment fees, or weeks of your own time spent hiring
  • Data, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email tools
  • The weeks it takes a new hire to learn your market
  • A manager’s time, every week
  • Cover when they are ill, on holiday or leave

With our team, you pay for

  • One monthly fee, priced on this page
  • Data, tools and sending accounts, inside that fee

06

Outsourced Sales, SDR, Sales Development: Three Names, One Job

  • SDR and Sales Development

Sales development is the work of finding buyers and booking first meetings, and an SDR is the person who does it. Some companies call the same role a BDR, or business development representative. A sales development agency, or SDR agency, provides that work as a service, which is what we do.

  • Outsourced Sales

Usually means a team that runs the whole sale, calls and closing included. We stop at the booked meeting, because the person who closes should be someone who knows your product inside out.

  • B2B Sales Agency and Outbound Agency

Wider names for firms that do some or all of this for other businesses. We are an outbound agency in that sense: we start conversations rather than waiting for buyers to find you.

07

How We Ramp, Week by Week

  1. Week 1: Your Market and Your Message

We learn what you sell, who buys it and why, and agree with you what a qualified meeting means for your team.

  2. Week 2: Lists, Accounts and Approval

We build the first prospect lists, set up the accounts outreach will go out from, and send you every message to approve.

  3. Weeks 3-4: Outreach Begins

LinkedIn messages go out, replies are answered and interested prospects are booked into your calendar. Email follows once its new sending addresses have been warmed up.

  4. Week 5 Onwards: Refine, Then Add Channels

We keep the messages and audiences that book meetings, drop the ones that do not, and add calls or new markets when the results support it.

08

What We Report, and How Often

Every week you get a written report covering the same six things, so one week can be read against the last.

  1. People contacted, by channel
  2. Replies, and what prospects actually said
  3. Meetings booked, and who they are with
  4. Messages tested, and which one is winning
  5. Prospects who said not now, and when to try again
  6. The plan for next week

Outsourced SDR: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an outsourced SDR cost?

At Scale Oxford, an outsourced SDR on LinkedIn costs £1,200 a month, LinkedIn and cold email together cost £1,800 a month, and a full SDR function with calling is priced on request. There is no long contract.

When should we hire our own SDR instead?

When you know which buyers and messages book meetings, have enough of them to keep a person busy, and have a sales manager with time to run the role. Until then, an outsourced team lets you find that out first. If you do hire, we hand over the lists, the messages and the results, so your new SDR starts from what worked.

What do you need from us?

An hour in the first week to explain who you sell to and why they buy, approval of the messages before they go out, and someone on your team to take the meetings we book.

Do your SDRs make cold calls?

Yes, in custom plans. As the ICO’s guidance on telephone marketing requires, business numbers are screened against the Corporate Telephone Preference Service before anyone is called. Every caller says who they are calling for, and anyone who asks us to stop is not contacted again on any channel.

How quickly does an outsourced SDR start?

We start on your market in the first week. LinkedIn messages usually go out in the third week, once you have approved the targeting and the words, and cold email follows after its sending addresses have been warmed up.

Do you only work with businesses in Oxford?

No. We are based in Oxford and run outsourced SDR campaigns for B2B companies across the UK. The outreach happens on LinkedIn, by email and on the phone, so where your buyers are matters far more than where we sit.
